Water quality testing for your espresso machine is essential for optimal flavor and equipment longevity. Good water enhances the taste of your coffee, while impurities can cause scale buildup and damage to the machine. Damage caused by inadequately treated water will void the machine and manufacturer’s warranty. Chloride requirements only apply to machines with steel boilers.
