The Mahlkönig E80W Grind-by-Sync (GbS) espresso grinder replaces the E80S Grind-by-Weight (GbW) and retains full Grind-by-Weight functionality with added features for improved control.
While the GbS name highlights its ability to pair with compatible La Marzocco machines (AV or ABR configurations) for dynamic burr adjustments based on target extraction time, it works as a standard Grind-by-Weight grinder with any espresso machine. This ensures precise dosing and versatility across all setups.
The E80W GbS includes cloud-enabled connectivity and an intelligent algorithm for automated burr adjustments. Baristas can adjust settings manually or use the grinder’s syncing capability for consistent results with minimal effort.
This is an open-box unit that has been carefully inspected, tested, and confirmed to be in proper working condition by our team. It may display minor cosmetic imperfections, as shown in the photos, such as small scratches or marks from handling, but it remains fully functional and includes all standard accessories unless otherwise specified.

30-Day Returns – Standard Policy
If your purchase doesn’t meet your needs, returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Returned equipment must be in the same condition as received and is subject to inspection upon arrival. Items showing signs of use, damage, or missing components may be subject to additional fees. A 20% restocking fee applies to espresso machines, brew equipment, and grinders. This fee helps cover inspection, testing, and restocking once the item is received. Customers are responsible for return shipping and any associated costs.
