The BWT Bestsave L Limescale Protection Pad is a compact, in‑tank scale prevention solution designed for use in coffee machines with 2–5 liter water reservoirs. Built with a food-grade ion-exchange fleece and integrated activated carbon, it gently binds calcium ions while filtering out chlorine and trace heavy metals. With a rated capacity of up to 200 liters at 10 °dH, it offers reliable protection for approximately 2 months before replacement.
BWT Installation is incredibly simple: just rinse the pad under running water, drop it to the bottom of your machine’s water tank, and let it run for 8–10 hours (overnight is ideal) so the ion exchange process can fully stabilize. As it works, the pad reduces scale buildup, helping extend the life of your equipment and minimizing the need for frequent descaling. BWT For hygiene, it should be changed every 2 months or once its maximum capacity is reached.
