The BWT Bestprotect M Filter Cartridge is a premium, high-capacity water treatment solution designed to safeguard your espresso machines, steamers, and other hot-beverage equipment from limescale, gypsum, and corrosion. It features BWT’s advanced 5‑stage filtration system — including a particle pre-filter, activated carbon with silver, high-performance ion exchanger, and fine filtration layers — to deliver crystal-clear water with a consistently high pH.
With the correct Besthead FLEX filter head (sold separately), this cartridge ensures optimal water quality for demanding hospitality and catering environments. When integrated into your workflow, simply mount the cartridge vertically via the Besthead FLEX connection, set bypass if required, and allow the system to filter continuously. The filter helps reduce scale, protect internal metal components, and stabilize mineral balance — all while maintaining great sensory quality in your brewed beverages. As your machine draws water, the filter steadily treats the incoming supply until its capacity is reached (e.g., ~2,200 L at 10 °dH for the M size). At replacement time, just swap out the old cartridge — no tools required — minimizing downtime and letting you get back to brewing without worry.
