Great grinder, great service.
Loving my purchase of the X64 SD. I am a single doser, needing to switch back and forth between decaf and caffeine beans, and I like to drink different coffees during the day. I upgraded from a Sette 270 which I loved for its performance in a single dosing setup, but it is the loudest grinder I have ever used. So, when the X64 SD arrived, I was happy to give it a go. It is faster, quieter and I no longer have to have a WDT step in my routine. Maybe the only issue I have is that I like to grind directly into my portafilter and it does tend to spray more particles around, so my cleanup of the area is a bit more often. Zeroing the grinder is a must, mine shipped with a healthy safety tolerance so the first grinds were less than 1 on the dial to get good grinds. After zeroing there is a better range between 1 and 2 for my range of coffees. Plenty of range for dialing in. It is solid, retention is not very high, about what I expected. The 64mm flat burrs are producing nice grinds. All in all, a great upgrade!
