Rancilio Espresso Machines

Rancilio manufactures and sells professional coffee machines in over 115 countries worldwide through the Italian headquarter, 7 branches, 2 R&D centers, and a global sales and service network. Their product range includes the traditional Rancilio espresso machines, the Egro fully automatic coffee machines, a “Home Line” and coffee grinders. As part of Ali Group, one of the largest global leaders in the foodservice equipment industry, they are a highly competitive industrial operator on the international scene.

Rancilio is most well known for its line of heat exchange espresso machines, the Classe 5 and Classe 7 as well as their long popular line of home espresso machines. Rancilio has revolutionized how heat exchange espresso machines work with the recent introduction of their Steady Brew system. The heating system of the Steady Brew Circuit relies on circulating water, but it has a significant distinction. While brewing, the water goes directly to the extraction chamber, where it keeps a consistent temperature for each extraction. This setup has a very high reactive capacity, ensuring thermal stability.

Where are Rancilio Espresso Machines made?

Rancilio espresso machines are made in Milan, Italy. Rancilio is an Italian company that has been manufacturing coffee equipment since 1927, and their products are known in the market for their Italian craftsmanship and quality.

Is Rancilio a good machine?

Rancilio is well-known as a reliable espresso machine brand. With a history spanning several decades, they have earned a solid reputation for producing innovative and high-quality espresso machines that are capable of producing excellent espresso shots.

Rancilio coffee machines feature superior technology such as the Rancilio Steady Brew System, to ensure temperature stability and highly customizable infusion instead of a large boiler design and less controlled infusion techniques. While these are excellent, some components are less robust than other specialty coffee manufacturers.
